Corriente is blend from Rioja with Tempranillo, Garnacha, and Graciano. After destemming, the grapes undergo cold maceration before fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged in barrels of various age to develop before release. A lovely juicy and fruit forward Rioja that we love

Telmo Rodríguez and Pablo Eguzkiza have been partners in the Spanish wine industry for nearly three decades, starting out at Telmo’s family estate, Remelluri, in Rioja. They are celebrated for redefining Spanish wine post-Franco, focusing on organic, historically-informed practices over industrial methods. Trained in Bordeaux and with experience at renowned French wineries, the duo founded their company in 1992 with a modest Garnacha from Navarra, later expanding across Spain. Their work emphasises preserving endangered local grape varieties and revitalising traditional practices, blending heritage with innovative vineyard management across regions like Valdeorras, Ribera del Duero, and Cebreros
