A vibrant Beaujolais Gamay from Fleurie, bursting with red berries, white pepper, and granite minerality. Light bodied, fresh, and silky, it’s perfect with charcuterie or herb roasted chicken. Crafted with low intervention, sustainable winemaking, this cracking Gamay is ready to enjoy now or age for a few years.
Notes on the Producer
In Grande Pré, between Fleurie and Morgon, Romain Zordan is crafting some of the most vibrant, drinkable Gamay in Beaujolais. Sharing a cellar with his cousin Yann Bertrand, he champions organic farming, whole-bunch fermentation, and minimal sulphur, ensuring freshness and purity in every bottle. Inspired by Jean-Louis Dutraive, Romain chills his grapes before fermentation, preserving their bright, juicy character. His wines are all about energy, precision, and effortless drinkability—a must for any Beaujolais lover.
