A Blanc de Noirs from Verzy Grand Cru, crafted from old-vine Pinot Noir on chalky soils. Fermented in oak with minimal intervention, it matures 24 months on lees. With floral, toasty aromas, crisp minerality, and a long, savoury finish, this Extra Brut is a pure, terroir-driven Champagne for serious enthusiasts.
Notes on the producer
Adrien Renoir is one of Champagne’s most exciting grower producers, crafting organic, terroir-driven wines in Verzy, Montagne de Reims. A fourth generation vigneron, he took over from his father in 2014, fully converting the domaine to organic and biodynamic farming by 2016. Renoir focuses on low-intervention winemaking, fermenting and ageing exclusively in neutral oak to enhance purity and expression of terroir. With minimal dosage, extended lees ageing, and meticulous vineyard work, Renoir’s boutique Champagne has gained cult status among enthusiasts. His wines capture the unique chalky soils of Verzy, where he farms 7 hectares, with the best parcels reserved for domaine bottlings.
