A Merlot dominant blend that misses out on the Graves region by about 200m. Soft, fruity and medium bodied this is a classic Bordeaux with a cedary finish. A super smooth red which is a step up in excellence from the basic Claret, Bordeaux Supérieur is the official next level in quality from the usual plonk. Super good value and a real crowd pleaser.
Notes on the Producer
Château du Barrailh is owned by the Labuzan family, located in Portets. Thierry and Denis Labuzan have been making wines in a traditional way since 1847, respecting the old methods inherited from their elders. They strive to keep their status of independent winegrower, that is to say that they bring great standards to their passion: to the cultivation of the vine, to the picking of the grapes, to the development and to the marketing of the wines.
