Domaine Des Terres Falmet, Carignan, 2022 - £18.70
100% Carignan from the Languedoc in Southern France. Its medium bodied with a nice bit of spice and its pairs great with roast duck, wild mushrooms and aged Gouda
Chateau Du Barrailh, La Grave Singalier, 2020 - £16.90
A blend of Merlot and Cab Sav from Bordeaux. Great value little wine and a real step up from your bog standard Claret. Soft, fruity and medium bodied this is a classic Bordeaux with a pleasing cedary finish. Great with red meats, goats cheese or most charcuterie.
Sassi, Rosso, NV - £16.50
100% Montepulciano from Abruzzo in Central Italy. Super charming wine with bags of plum and spicy notes. It is well balanced, easy drinking and versatile and biodynamically farmed to boot. Great with spag bol, pizza or hard cheese.
AA Badenhorst, Secateurs Shiraz Cinsault, 2023 - £16.50
A Shiraz (Syrah) and Cinsault blend from Swartland in South Africa. Far from the confected and jammy Shiraz you might think, this is elegant and spicy and again cracking value for money. Really one of the best value wine sin the shop, the Secateurs range always punches above its weight. Great with charcuterie, roast veg and mature cheese.
Domaine Du Salvard, Cheverny Rouge, 2022 - £18.10
This is a juicy blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley in France. It has bags of cherry aromas with notes of cloves & liquorice. Lively and fresh, it's designed to be drunk young. Great with a plate of charcuterie, Manchego and even meaty fish.

Domaine Perreau, Montravel Sec, 2023 - £17.50
A lovely blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Gris & Semillon from Montravel from Montravel just to the west of Bergerac in South West France. Its elegant, bright and fresh with tropical and citrus notes. A real steal for the price. A real delight with warm goats cheese, grilled prawns or halloumi.
Andre Scherer, Pinot Blanc Reserve, 2022 - £16.50
100% Pinot Blanc from Alsace in North East France. Pretty complex for the prcie pointy with a luscious texture and layers of tropical fruit, honey and wild white flowers this is a lovely drop of Alsatian juice. A lovely little lunch time driop with an omelette or try with a Thai curry or soft cheese.
AA Badenhorst, Secateurs Chenin, 2023 - £16.50
100% Chenin Blanc from Swartland in South Africa. This is top quality Chenin at quite frankly a bargain price. It's creamy with notes of apricots and meadow flowers Probably one of the best value whites in our portfolio. Great with creamy chicken dishes, lobster risotto or even a healthy crisp green salad.
Louis Guntrum, Riesling, 2022 - £15.80
A l,ovely little Riesling from the Rheinhessen region of Germany. Off dry it is elegant and with that classical Riesling scent of beautiful fruit and a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with low alcohol to boot. Great with a bit of spice, seafood or tangy goat cheese.
Toques & Clochers, Limoux, 2022 - £19.70
A serious Chardonnay from Languedoc in Southern France that could be mistaken for a top burgundy, this wine really packs a lot in. The diligent use of new oak provides some spicy, nutty flavours alongside a lemony, peachy fruitiness. Great with buttery fish like Turbot, creamy cheese or even fried chicken.
Fizz
Pago de Tharsys, Cava Brut Nature, NV - £13.90
A cracking Cava made with Xarel-Lo, Macebeu & Parellada from Catalunya in North East Spain. It is a traditional method sparkling so made in a similar way to Champagne. This really delivers for the price with notes of apricot and pear and the start of those brioche and biscuit notes. A no brainer! Try with fresh oysters, roast artichokes or sheeps cheese.
Paltrinieri, Lambrusco 'Solco', NV - £19.70
A sparkling red made with the Lambrusco grape from Emilia-Romagna in Italy. Genuine Lambrusco is a sheer delight and should be taken very seriously! This little gem has bags of ripe, soft, dark fruit and a lush mouthfeel impart created by the 15 grams or so residual sugar making it off dry. It does also have a lovely savoury dryness to the finish which makes it great with food. An absolute joy with prosciutto, pizza or any tomato based pasta sauces.
Pink
AA Badenhorst, Secateurs Rose, 2023 - £16.50
Yes its our friend from the Secateurs range again but i'm telling you they are great value! This rose is made with 100% Mouvedre and it also comes from Swartland in South Africa. Notes of red currant and cranberry, this is quite a serious rose for the money reminding us of those serious Bandol Roses. Food friendly and delicious.Try with grilled fish, BBQ Prawns or even roast chicken.
Juan Antonio Ponce, Las Canadas 2021 - £16.60
A super interesting rose made from 100% Bobal from the Manchuela region of Southern Spain. Slightly dark in colour and bursting with notes of blood orange and red berries this is a delightful organic rose and well worth a punt if you want to step away from your Provence style comfort zone. Great with grilled tuna, fresh salads or Paella.
These are just some of our favourites that we are drinking at the moment. They are all made with sustainable farming methods at the core. They might not all be certified organic or biodynamic but they all share this ethos.
